What's in a name? A Paint name that is!

So long are the days where the words "red", "blue" or "green" are used to describe the actual colour.
With so many variations of a single colour from bright and saturated hues to muted tones, how can paint companies help but not get creative with playful and interesting names to describe their perfect shade.

Para Paints is one manufacturer who is using interesting names, many of them phrases to describe their paint. Names such as, "DUDE!" to describe a light blue shade versus Benjamin Moore' "Ice Blue"  and "Pop, Lock and Drop" a popular pop dance term to describe a beige tone. The names are anything but boring and if you're not excited about colour after going through their fan deck I don't know what will excite you.
